Prosthetic prostheses are of different types, such as fixed ones that cannot be removed by the patient themselves, as well as removable prostheses, which can be removed at any time by the patient. Prostheses serve to replace a certain number of teeth (partial prostheses) when we have missing or an entire jaw (total dentures). They consist of acrylic resin material and resin teeth. For a prosthesis to be suitable and perform its function well, it must be well supported on the bone or on the teeth where it is attached (or implants), to have good articulating function and good chewing, to be anti-allergic and to be resistant to chewing forces.
